Includes:
- Daily warm up class
- GrossDanceCompany repertory
- 'Physical script' choreographic method developed by Sagi Amir Gross
'Physical Script', the choreographic language of Sagí Gross, is articulated, expressive, explosive and also personal. Sagí uses the physical body to produce meaning for the moment, express emotions, gestures and focus on the personalities of the people he is working with. The connection between daily life gestures, physical expressive motives, individualism and personal characteristic expressions will be explored. All of that, next to the sense of being in the 'here and now'.
Sagí: “Even if we rehearse and repeat the same physical moments and movements, I always want the dancers to follow that same sensation, as if they are experiencing each moment again for the first time. Just as when actors receive a text, they won’t just repeat the given lines; they will try to reach into their souls and individual awareness in order to create a very specific momentum in the present. This gives a surprisingly intuitive human quality which can connect universally for different moments to occur during a creative process."
